Watched Friday's Ghost Whisperer. It was about a haunted dollhouse, and I love haunted dollhouses!

See, this girl who will be turning 18 soon is living with her aunt and cousin. She was the sole survivor of her family, who had died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Her dad's sister ends up taking her in until she reaches majority.

Somehow or another, in the Sister-Aunt's attic, there is a dollhouse that is an exact replica of girl's burnt-down house.  Everything in it is the same - even the furniture.

Little cousin (who's like, 9 or something) talks to the dolls in the house, and the dolls talk back. Cue creepy music.

Melinda, of course, gets involved, and in her research discovers that the family was loaded, niece is sole inheritor, Sister-Aunt is practicing Voodoo, and has bound the family's spirits into the house!  And now she's trying to kill her niece!

Things are said, the ghosts manifest, and it turns out that Sister-Aunt is not teh ebul, and is really a Good Person.  Hugs, tears, everyoneliveshappilyeverafter.  Typical Ghost Whisperer ending.

But I didn't catch - why did Sister-Aunt bind the souls to the dollhouse?

Why was she practicing Voodoo to begin with?

Did I miss something?
