21 Purrfect Pictures of Cats Inspecting the Grocery Haul on a Mission to Find the Treats

Posted by Sarah Brown

Set the grocery bags down and, poof, the Household Feline Inspection Team materializes like they were summoned by the sacred crinkle. A tiny nose beeps every barcode, a paw stamps the receipt, and the meowdit begins. Bread is approved for loafing, lettuce is declared suspicious ("too leafy; probably illegal"), and the rotisserie chicken is immediately confiscated by the Tiny Snack Authority for "further investigation." Boxes convert into customs checkpoints, the counter becomes an unauthorized runway, and the inspector enforces TSA: Touch Snacks Aggressively.

Cans are rolled for stress testing, yogurt is allegedly licked, and the treat pouch is interrogated until it confesses and opens itself out of fear. Anything string-shaped is tagged as enrichment. The bag rustles again, whisker sirens activate, and a second cat teleports in from the astral plane like, "I heard treats." Inventory notes are filed by sitting directly on your list, tail swishing like a highlighter.

At last, shelving concludes with paw-prints everywhere and one mysterious hair inside the cereal box. The supervisor flops in a sunbeam and invoices payment in head bonks and snack tax.

'I’m not a cat person, but I’m a Kiwi person': Sweet stray kitten gets rescued and adopted by "non-c

Posted by Sarah Brown

Kiwi arrived like a stray spark and suddenly this not-a-cat-person became a full-blown pawrent, learning the meowmanual on the fly. One week she was a mystery floof in a crate. The next, a vetted, vaccinated, 6–8-month-old CEO of the living room. The bathroom has become Base Camp Kiwi with litter, water, dry kibble, mushroom scratcher, crinkle ball, while the resident hamster enjoys witness protection. Mornings feature a 6:30 breakfast announcement. Evenings, a dignified ottoman sit followed by five minutes of NASCAR zoomies. Classic kitten programming.

Because doing things right matters, this new pawrent is double-checking the big stuff: kitten-appropriate portions, steady routines, and safe separation from the tiny hamster roommate. Enrichment gets a gold star. Play before work, play after work, and supervised pawtrols to keep curiosity spicy but civilized. A tree to climb or a second scratch surface wouldn't hurt, and puzzle feeders could turn snack time into brain time, but the vibes already say "thriving floof."

The best progress report comes from Kiwi herself: figure-eight welcomes, purr-engine idle, and a nightly loaf on the skeptical spouse. Translation: trust achieved, hearts acquired, laps taxed in treats. Not a cat person turned Kiwi person is exactly how it's done. Pawsitive, patient, and perfectly on track.

Much like Forrest Gump's wise momma pointed out, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. And the same can be said for feline adoptions, as you have absolutely no clue where on the scale from cute and cuddly to demonic and delirious your newly adopted feline fur baby will be. Not just that but they are subject to change whenever they see fit so even if you, for a moment you think you have got their tricks down, you will likely be surprised.

And that is very much what one woman had to put up with when she brought home a feral acting feline who had no fear of mauling anyone he saw fit to. Luckily, with her undying support and belief that he was actually a good boy after all, a solution was found and now they live as a happy healthy, unscratched family

Never has there been a more hilarious story of cat vs company. In this tale, a blender company is dragged willingly into the lives of three frenetic felines who decided that their blender boxes would make some of the very best boxes to sit in, stand on and generally rule over the home with. However, their pawrents only bought two blenders, meaning that war was inevitably going to breakout amongst the felines.

Which is when one of the pawrents decided to reach out to the blender company in the hopes of securing another box such that a conflict can be avoided and that blender box based peace can be restored to their household. The company miraculously replied and were into the idea. The only thing they missed was the opportunity to sell boxes of blenders that can be converted into cat trees and charge a heft fee for the feline themed add on.

23 Whiskered Weirdos in Meme Form for Crazy Cat People Pretending They're Normies

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

Hey there, fellow feline fanatics pretending to be totally normal! How's life with your 70 cats? Don't worry, we won't expose you - we either know you already have 70, or you secretly dream about it. Honestly, we dream about it too. We imagine our I Can Has Cheezburger HQ filled wall-to-wall with 70 cats… it'd be at least 70 times better than it is now. And it's already pretty great, thanks to the power of paws.

Our office is already ruled by three whiskered weirdos: Stomper, Veesha, and Oofy. Stomper is a certified chonker, stomping around demanding snacks with his raspy little meows until someone caves. Veesha is our resident Catlympic sprinter, turning zoomies into an extreme sport. She's been spotted running through conference rooms, across keyboards, over heads, and yes, even over poor Stomper. And then there's Oofy, who believes personal space is a myth. If you think you can get work done without Oofy climbing onto your lap - or worse, your keyboard - you're living in a fantasy.

Speaking of… oh no. He's here. Oofy just plopped down mid-sentence and sdkjfhhshsihf9999999999999dklsss=== dodo0ii0iiiiiiiii j+++++++++++++++

Anyway, while we wrangle our feline overlords, enjoy these 23 whiskered weirdos in meme form. Crazy? Absolutely. Purrfect? Always.

The Cat Distribution System sends gorgeous ginger kitten to man who recently lost his orange cat; re

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

There's something remarkable about the unspoken bond between cat lovers. Even when we don't know each other's names, we share a kind of instant trust. If you've ever been in a small town convenience store parking lot, or even scrolling through an online community like ours, you've probably felt it - that quiet recognition that "you're one of us". And with that recognition comes responsibility. We step in for each other, hold a kitten while someone runs inside, share advice when a cat pawrent is worried, or simply cheer each other on when life (or the Cat Distribution System) delivers a new fluffy family member.

It's mutual trust built not on contracts, but on love for cats. We all know how fragile these moments can be - the first time a stray cat runs into your arms, the anxious joy of carrying home a new companion, the way a kitten clings when its human steps away. And because we've all been there, we don't hesitate to show up for each other.

Like this one wife who told the online feline family about her husband helping a stranger with a brand-new orange kitten, so the man could run into the store without worry. One cat lover trusted another with what had just become his whole heart. That's the magic of this community: cats may choose us, but we choose each other, too. And in those choices, every adoption story becomes a little brighter, a little safer, and a whole lot more loved.

'[I'm] scared to date again': 33-year-old cat mom gets broken up with after 8-year relationship, see

Posted by Blake Seidel

Dating as a cat pawrent can be difficult, to say the least. Unless they have a cat of their own, they can't truly understand your devotion to your fur baby. And even if they do have their own fluffy feline, the introduction process of the two cats can be challenging in and of itself. If they don't have a cat, they have to get used to cat hair being on literally everything they own, zoomies in the middle of the night, and a cat that is probably going to be very wary of their presence in the beginning. We all know how long it can take cats to warm up to new hoomans.

And on top of all of that, you don't want them just to tolerate your cat, you want them to love your cat the way you love them, because they're your baby! It's quite a long checklist of things that someone new needs to be okay with, which complicated an already complicated dating process even more. So, we understand why the cat mom below is asking for advice…. if we were single, we would be looking for advice too! If you're single and looking for a partner to not only love you, but your feline as well, the cat community came out and offered their sage advice below. Happy hunting!

Landlord demands tenant move out for not disclosing he had a cat when moving in, turns out she just

Posted by Mariel Ruvinsky

When moving into a new apartment, it is important, as cat owners, to find out whether the place allows you to have cats or not. You don't want to hide your cat from your landlord, not even if it is so that you could avoid paying pet rent, which yes, it a ridiculous concept. If they don't want cats in their apartments, fine. If they want you to pay for the cats, it's up to you to decide whether you're willing to live there under those conditions. Don't cause trouble, not when it comes to your cats, that's our way of looking at things. Our cats are too important for us to risk them.

And this tenant… did not cause trouble. Despite his landlord claiming otherwise, he did disclose having a cat. And although no pet rent was demanded in the beginning, once it was, the tenant paid it. And still, horrible landlords exist, and this was definitely one of them, so although we don't support taking revenge too often, this time… it was earned. And also hilarious.

Good Samaritan rescues 4 kittens from insane woman who was putting them in a sleeping bag and planni

Posted by Mariel Ruvinsky

In places where there are a lot of street cats, it is important for the residents to be informed of what to do when you encounter a kitten that is alone. There are many options, many things that you, an individual, can do. You start by looking for the mother. Oftentimes, when a kitten is "alone", it's not actually alone, and the mother is somewhere nearby, possibly hunting for food. If you can't find the mother for long enough, you can rescue the cat on your own - adopt the cat if you can and want to, and if not, then you look for a family for the cat or you bring it to a shelter.

There is an endless number of options for what to do before you decide to stick a bunch of kittens in a sleeping bag and drown them. Endless. Impossible to list them all. And still, some people choose that option. We don't know how many of these people there are, how many of these stories we don't hear about, but those that we do, and specifically those that have a happy ending, with kind people intervening and stopping the worst from happening, those stories are ones that we think it is so important to write about.

23 Hissterical Memes of Spicy Gremlin Gatos

Posted by Sarah Brown

Cats aren't sweet. They're spicy little gremlins with zero respect for authority and a personal vendetta against your sleep schedule. They clock in at dawn, demand breakfast like it's their legal right, then scatter every breakable object across the floor just to prove gravity still works. Productivity? Cute. They'll sit on your laptop until your deadlines give up. Boundaries? They ate those with your yogurt.

Their daily routine is pure chaos: loaf one minute, Olympic parkour athlete the next, usually across your stomach at 3AM. Your favorite plant? Naturally deceased. Your couch? A handcrafted scratching installation. They hear "no" and immediately translate it to "yes, but louder." And if you thought your rug was safe, congratulations… you just bought a vomit canvas.

And yet, the spicy little dictators know how to keep you hooked. They glitch into purring cuddle mode, head-bonk your soul, and suddenly you're paying rent on your lap in treats. They steal your chicken, ignore your calls, and moon the camera during Zoom meetings, but life without them would be way too bland. A little cat chaos? It's the purrfect seasoning.

Now, we cannot comment on how you might personally feel about this topic, as it is a rather divisive one amongst feline fanatics. But this story centers around a cattery and what they described as being 'poor genetic material'. Which immediately sets off fires in our eyes, as how can any hooman have the audacity to comment so derisively about a cute cat child no matter how impressive their genetics may or may not be. But that it not even the most infuriating part of this story, for the real drama only starts after the cattery adopts the poor catto out to a loving family who promise to give the feline fur baby a furever home that it deserves.

For when the cattery suddenly was without a so called 'stud' they had the gall to turn to the new adopted pawrents to ask for the sub-par feline back for a round of mating. Absolutely shocking stuff, and yet another reminder of how we need to be solely adopting from shelters so that catteries like this go out of business.

‘I just burst out in tears at the thought of having took him from his family’:A person’s compassiona

Posted by Laurent Shinar

Cat rescues just got a whole lot more complicated with this story, and it is hard to put how we feel about the implications into words. You see, usually the biggest concern a would-be feline rescuer might have is that they are unwittingly taking someone's cat child, who simply went out for a stroll and maybe lost their collar and look a little scruffy. A problem which is rather easily avoided thanks to microchips and strong social media communities that support finding lost pets.

But what happens when a would-be rescuer comes across a kitten who is obviously feral, takes them in, and a few days later sees the cat's feline mother come back around to check up on her kitten? This is the conundrum that we will be taking a look at within this story, and we can tell you it is not an easy one to judge.
